Lisa Edwards is an Australian solo and session singer and musician, who had an Australian Gold record for her album Thru the Hoop and a Top 5 hit with the Godley and Creme song Cry.
Began her career as a solo artist and backing singer in the 1970's in her home city of Adelaide, South Australia and in Sydney, New South Wales.

As well as a backing singer, she plays percussion and flute. It was for the latter that she was first recruited to John Farnham's band in 1988, and she is still a member of his band today.

In 1993, her cover of the Godley and Creme song Cry made the Australian Top 5 and achieved gold record status.
