Elizabeth Anne Okino, also known as Betty Okino, was born in Uganda, Africa to a Romanian mother and a Ugandan father. Finished in 5th place in the Balance Beam finals at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and 12th place in the Individual All-Around. Other gymnastics accomplishments include a bronze medal on the Balance Beam at the 1991 World Championships, a 4th place finish in the All-Around, and a silver medal in the Team Competition. She also has a skill named after her on the balance beam, being the first to perform the triple turn on one foot.
