Danielle Staub (produced Beverly Ann Merrill; July 29, 1962) is an American television personality. In August 2010, Staub left the show after two seasons. Understood in the time as Beverly Ann Merrill, Staub worked with authorities and received five years’ probation. Although Staub has admitted that she was detained in June 1986, she denies a lot of the other claims produced by Maher. Staub’s autobiography, The Naked Truth, premiered on May 25, 2010,[4] and in it she maintains that her arrest was a matter of “wrong place/wrong time”. After weeks of speculation, it had been supported by Bravo that Staub wouldn’t be returning to the show for season three but no reason was given. It was later disclosed that Caroline Manzo told Bravo and Andy Cohen that she’d not go back to the show if Danielle did.
