Mitzi Cunliffe was born on January 1, 1918 in New York City, New York, USA as Mitzi Solomon. She is known for her work on The Orange British Academy Film Awards (2009), The Orange British Academy Film Awards (2008) and I Love This Dirty Town (1969). She was married to Marcus Cunliffe. She died on December 30, 2006 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.
In 1955 she designed the iconic gold BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) trophy, in the form of a theatrical mask, which is presented each year at the BAFTA awards ceremony.
