I think you guys are way off and you will not hear from Steve on this. However, he signed
a 36 million dollar contract somewhere around 1990 or 91 and played it out, he signed a 45
million contact in 96 or 97 and played half of it out. However the signing bonus was most of
the contract and he probably received most of it. Not to mention the guy does not spend
money, I would guess he is nearer 100 million than 40 million. He has been a Toyota spokesman for 20 years or better, he has worked for ESPN about 15 years. I would imagine
being a lawyer he invests his money well, my guess is probably low.
