He was a writer and producer, known for Three's Company (1977), The Jeffersons (1975) and All in the Family (1971). He was married to Miriam 'Mimi' Berman. He died on July 29, 2010 in Beverly Hills, California, USA.
Was at one point a stand-up comic, partnered with Michael Ross. The two went on to become a writing/producing team on TV sitcoms, such as Three's Company (1976).
