Constantine Maroulis Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Constantine James Maroulis (/mruls/; produced September 17, 1975) is an American celebrity and rock vocalist from Wyckoff, New Jersey. He’s appeared in several off Broadway characters in the Conservatory, as well as some independent films. After graduating in the Conservatory, Maroulis trained as an acting trainee in the prestigious Williamstown Theater Festival in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts and toured in the Broadway international touring company of Lease performing the lead character of Roger Davis. His character as Roger was non-equity. Since he’d no representative representing him at that point, he was permitted to appear on American Idol. In August 2004, acting upon his then-girlfriend’s idea, Maroulis traveled to Washington DC to audition for Season 4 of the television show American Idol. Along with Bo Bice (additionally from Season 4) and Taylor Hicks (victor of Season 5), Maroulis was among the first contestants to reap the benefits of this change. Maroulis and Bice are also famous for being among the very first contestants to compete utilizing the rock idiom. On April 27, 2005, Maroulis was removed from American Idol after he performed Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me” during the 2000s music round. Less than a week before his removal, Maroulis’s pre-Idol group, Pray For The Soul Of Betty, declared the May 10 release of the self-titled debut on their label, Baby Julius. His performance of the Queen classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” also earned him the compliments of judges, including that of the typically nasty Simon Cowell. In the private invitation of Queen’s guitarist Brian May, Maroulis after recorded a studio sort of the track for Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen, that was released on August 9, 2005 on Queen’s label, Hollywood Records.
