The name "Jingles" for the Regurgitator best-of album was suggested by the band's manager as a parody of the way record label view singles as advertising jingles to sell the album. There was also a companion DVD entitled "Infomercials" that continued the joke in relation to music videos. This seemed an obvious way to express the tension between art and commerce that the culture industries have to deal with from a creative perspective.

Happyland was a one-off project formed with Janet English of fellow Australian band Spiderbait, which saw the creation of the album 'Welcome To Happyland'. They have since split up.
