Michel Polnareff Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Michel Polnareff (born 3 July 1944, Nérac (Lot-et-Garonne, France) is a French singer-songwriter, who was popular in France from the mid-1960s until the early 1990s with his last original album, Kama-Sutra. Since then, without any proper new original album, he is still critically acclaimed and occasionally tours in France.Michel was born into an artistic family: his mother, Simone Lane, was a dancer and his father, Leib Polnareff or Léo Poll worked with Édith Piaf. He learned piano by age five and was a very good music student. He learned the guitar, and after his studies, military service, and a brief time in insurance, he began to play his guitar on the steps of the Sacré Cœur.

2
Son of a musician and a dancer, he learned piano at 5 and won first prize in piano at an academy at age 11. At 20, going to Paris, the piano was too heavy for him and he learned to play the guitar (particularly the 12-string guitar).

Many songs he wrote are still amongst the most famous French ones: "La poupée qui fait non", "Le bal des Laze", "Lettre à France", "Tam-tam", "Dans la rue", "Goodbye Marylou"...
4
He was betrayed by his businessman/accountant Bernard Seneau, who stole from him for two years. In 1973, Seneau disappeared with a real fortune in his pockets and Polnareff learned about his treachery when the French taxes asked him for 1,000,000 francs! Completely ruined, Polnareff could not pay and had to leave France for the USA. Finally, in 1978, his honesty was recognized, but he still had to pay what he owed. So for his next two records, "Bulles" and "Incognito", every dime he earned was given to taxes...
