Lincoln Wayne "Chips" Moman (born, June 12, 1937 La Grange, Georgia, United States) is an American record producer, guitarist, and songwriter. As a record producer, Moman is known for recording Elvis Presley, Bobby Womack, Carla Thomas, and Merrilee Rush, as well as guiding the career of the Box Tops in Memphis, Tennessee during the 1960s. As a songwriter, he is responsible for standards associated with Aretha Franklin, James Carr, Waylon Jennings, and B. J. Thomas. He has been a session guitarist for Franklin and other musicians.
Moman was elected into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 1990 and Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

Long regarded as the "fifth Highwayman" for his role in producing the country super group that included Jennings, Nelson, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson, Moman also co-wrote Jennings' 1977 crossover hit, "Luckenbach, Texas (Back to the Basics of Love)," and in 1982 produced Nelson's CMA Award-winning smash, "Always on My Mind." Along with Larry Butler, Moman earned a 1976 Grammy for writing the B.J. Thomas pop-country hit, "(Hey, Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song).".
