Laura Rossi is a British composer of film and concert works. Originally from Devon, she graduated with a Masters Degree from The London College of Music, having previously studied at the University of Liverpool.Her credits include scores for films such as Paul Andrew Williams' London to Brighton and The Cottage, as well as being commissioned by the Imperial War Museum to write an orchestral score for the 1916 film The Battle of the Somme.
One of only two women (out of a list of 114) to make the shortlist for Best Original Score at the 2014 Academy Awards.
