Jeremy Larner (born March 20, 1937) is an author, poet, journalist and speechwriter. He won an Academy Award in 1972 for Best Original Screenplay, for writing The Candidate.
A 1958 graduate of Brandeis University, he returned for the school's 2007 SunDeis Film Festival to participate on an all-star Alumni Panel and give a talk about his work in the film industry and read from his new book of poetry.
