Dave Fisher was born on July 19, 1940 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA as David Louis Fisher. He is known for his work on Pensacola: Wings of Gold (1997), 18 Wheels of Justice (2000) and The Fall Guy (1981). He was married to Elaine Haagen, Candace Crawford and Melanie Barron. He died on May 7, 2010 in Rye, New York, USA.
Formed the folk group The Highwaymen in 1958. Had a #1 hit with the Civil War-era African-American spiritual "Michael (Row the Boat Ashore)" in 1961. The song was previously recorded by Bob Gibson, and later recorded by Harry Belafonte, Trini López, and Pete Seeger.
