Jeremy Levin is a South African born businessman who was the President and CEO of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries between May 2012 and October 2013. Prior to this he worked at, among others, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Novartis. Levin has also practiced medicine, working for a time at Hammersmith Hospital in London. Levin was born in South Africa, and has lived in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Great Britain, Switzerland, Israel and the United States. Levin has been recognized for his accomplishments in the biopharmaceutical industry, being named one of the 25 most influential people in the industry by Fierce Biotech in 2012.
