Troy Aumua Polamalu (/polmlu/; produced April 19, 1981), produced Troy Aumua, is an American football powerful safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Southern California (USC), and earned All American honors. He was selected by the Steelers in the very first round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He’s been a person in two of the Steelers’ Super Bowl championship teams, and continues to be picked for the Pro Bowl eight times, and was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 and is known as by many[“by whom?”] as among the greatest safeties to ever play the sport.
