Joseph Christopher Glenn (March 23, 1938 – October 17, 2006) was an American radio and television news journalist who worked in broadcasting for over 45 years and spent the final 35 years of his career at CBS, retiring in 2006 at the age of 68.
He worked for CBS News on television and radio for 35 years. He was anchorman for CBS' coverage of the launch of the ill-fated space shuttle Challenger in 1986. His distinctive voice was heard on the 2 1/2 minute news feature "In the News" on Saturday mornings during the 1970s.
