1Former architect. Came to Hollywood in 1932, first as draftsman for Paramount, then promoted to full art director, a position he occupied until 1957. He subsequently worked as set designer for television. His most prolific contribution (alongside Hal Pereira) was on the popular western series Bonanza (1959), for which he co-designed the Ponderosa interiors and exteriors on stages sixteen and seventeen at Paramount.
