Laura Schlessinger Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Laura Catherine Schlessinger (created January 16, 1947) is an American talk radio host, socially conservative commentator and writer. Her radio program consists mostly of her answers to callers’ requests for personal guidance and has sometimes featured her brief monologues on societal and political issues. Her site says that her show “preaches, teaches, and nags about morals, principles and ethos”.
Formerly, Schlessinger joined a local radio profession having an exclusive practice as a marriage and family counsel, but after going into national syndication she focused her efforts on the day-to-day “The Dr. Laura Program”, and on authoring self help publications. A short lived television talk show hosted by Schlessinger was established in 2000. In August 2010, she declared that she’d stop her syndicated radio show in December 2010. Schlessinger declared a “multi-year” deal to be on satellite radio. Schlessinger used “Hot Talkin’ Big Shot”, a tune by country and blues vocalist and songwriter Nikki Hornsby, for a number of years as signal music for her radio program as well as to get a national radio commercial advertisements for the show. Several of her affiliates and major patrons had lost her show after her on atmosphere use of a racial epithet on August 10. On January 3, 2011, Schlessinger’s show went only to Sirius XM Radio.
