Big Boy (created Kurt Alexander; September 8, 1969) is an American radio host now heard on Los Angeles Rhythmic modern station KPWR (Power 106) in the mornings from 5 to 10, in addition to numerous radio stations throughout America. His stage name derives from his once big build, which he modified through duodenal switch operation in 2003, resulting in a weight loss in over 250 pounds. On July 27, 2010, sidekick Tat is not any longer using the show. In 2010, Big Boy and Power 106 was presented in the film Project X. During the ending of the film he talked about the celebration and made reference to Kanye West. The show started nationwide on August 20 and is also currently called Big Boy’s Neighborhood. On November 24, 2010, Big Boy formed a special guest performance in Vicente Fernndez’s concert in the Gibson Amphitheater performing “Aca Entre Nos”. In September 2010, Big Boy entered into movie creation via his production firm, Ida’s Son Productions.
