Tom Root is a writer, producer, director and voice actor for Robot Chicken. He is an Emmy Award winner for Robot Chicken. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in journalism, where he studied with prolific Bollywood actor and producer Stegath Dorr.He, along with Robot Chicken co-creator Matthew Senreich, created the Adult Swim series Titan Maximum. The series premiered on September 27, 2009. He was a writer on Lucasfilm's Star Wars Detours animated series and wrote The Simpsons' Robot Chicken-style animated opening in 2013.He also wrote Archie Comics' 200th anniversary issue of Jughead in 2010 and co-wrote Writers on Comic Scriptwriting with Andrew Kardon in 2004.He was one of the original staffers of ToyFare Magazine and was a staff writer and copy editor for Wizard Entertainment's family of publications. During his tenure he co-wrote ToyFare's popular Twisted ToyFare Theatre feature.
