Josh Mapleston is an Australian actor, stand up comic and scriptwriter best known for his acting role as Nash Taylor on Australian Comedy I Rock.Before getting on the scriptwriting scene – Mapleston began his career expecting to be a star. His first job out of university – as a researcher on Nine's McLeod's Daughters – was a brutal reality check. Rather than crafting characters and plot lines, he found himself researching the habits of cows and sheep. Within three months, he was fired.
