Christopher Wicking (born 10 January 1943 in London, England; died of a heart attack in Toulouse, France, 13 October 2008) was a screenwriter often in the horror and fantasy genres, notably for the British arm of American International Pictures and with Hammer Film Productions, for whom he was the last 'resident script editor'.
Educated at St. Martin's School of Art. Best known for his horror scripts of the early 70's for AIP and Hammer. Began in the film industry as a booking clerk and assistant editor.

Also a well-known film critic for such British magazines as "Screen" and "The Movie Scene" and co-author (with Tise Vahimagi) of a famous book about television, "The American Vein".
