Yasmien Yuson Kurdi-Soldevilla (born 25 January 1989 in San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines), popularly known as Yasmien Kurdi, is an award-winning Filipina actress, voice actress, singer-songwriter and commercial model. She was one of the Final Four in the first season of StarStruck, a reality-based talent search show by GMA Network in the Philippines where she finished first runner up. She bagged the title of the Philippines' Pop Sweetheart and known for the roles of Mira in the hit fantasy series Encantadia, Salve Dizon de Leon in the remake of Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita, Shayne Rodrigo in the hit remake Saan Darating Ang Umaga?, a role originated by Maricel Soriano.
Started singing at age three. At 11, she's been performing with choirs at school and church and at the same time also a wedding singer.

Acquired her acting skills only when she joined Starstruck (2003) and learned from veteran actors who gave her tips on acting.

Debut album "In the Name of Love" included her signature song "I Know", composed by Rebel V. Magdagasang. It was used in the Philippine release of Nang rang 18 seh (2004) and has been named as Song of the Year in the S.O.P. (1997) Music Award.
