#Quote
1[about the technical magic of television itself] Sometimes the magic works, sometimes it doesn't.
2I have never fallen in love with my own voice, but I've always had an attraction for it.
3I learned a long time ago that if you bet on yourself, you win. If you bet on others, you lose.
#Fact
1In his later years, lived a solitary life at his home in the hilly and winding road Benedict Canyon area, often coming in to downtown Beverly Hills in the evenings to socialize with friends at local restaurants.
2Readily admits that one of the most embarrassing moments of his career was while interviewing Meat Loaf. For the first ten minutes he kept calling the rocker "Meatball"
3Began his broadcasting career when he was 21 years old; worked at a small radio station in his hometown.
4Was parodied in the 1970s on TV's Saturday Night Live (1975); Dan Aykroyd exaggerated Snyder's manic laugh and brusque interviewing style.
