Richard Stark is a writer/director, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He earned his M.F.A. in film production at the prestigious USC film school. Stark's had a passion for filmmaking since childhood, creating his first movie at age 11. In 2012 Stark won Best Director at the Nevada International Film Festival for his short film An Innocent Family.

In 2008 the "Everybody" music video that Stark edited was voted by iTunes as their first ever "Video of the Week". The video stared Fonzworth Bentley, Kanye West and Andre 3000. The video launched on BET, MTV and VH1 and received close to a million and a half views online.

In 2009 Stark was nominated for "Best Cinematography" by the Academy of Web and Television's Streamy Awards for his work on the Web and TV series "The Legend of Neil".
