Orlando Antigua a.k.a. "Hurricane" (born 1973) is an American basketball player and current South Florida coach. He is widely known as becoming the first Hispanic and the first non-black to play for the Harlem Globetrotters in 52 years when he signed in 1995. He was named the head coach of South Florida on March 31, 2014.Raised in the Bronx, Antigua overcame various obstacles early in his life, among them having to live with a bullet lodged in his head for many years, before he was able to play for the Globetrotters. After his retirement from playing professional basketball he was named an assistant coach for the Pittsburgh Panthers, the Memphis Tigers, and most recently, the Kentucky Wildcats. He is also currently the head coach of the Dominican Republic national basketball team and has accepted an offer to become the head coach of the University of South Florida men's basketball team.
