In November 2007, Bartha was cast within an indie comic-play, Holy Rollers. Filming started in The Big Apple in the spring of 2008, as well as the movie was launched in 2010. Bartha additionally starred alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones in the Bart Freundlich movie, The Rebound that’s about a 25-year old guy who begins a love affair with his senior single mother neighbor, the movie started shooting in April 2008 in NYC and ended in June. In the The Hangover humor movie show, he played Doug Billings, among the “Wolfpack” members who goes on weekend excursions using the threesome. Following a crazy nights of partying, he goes missing and his buddies anxiously seek everywhere for him. A farcical humor, it had been directed by Stanley Tucci and began previews in the Music Box Theater on March 11, 2010, together with the official opening date on April 4, 2010. In 2011, Bartha signed to star in the premier of Zach Braff’s play All New People at Second Stage Theatre. All New People started June 28 and ran through mid-August. Anna Camp, David Wilson Barnes and Krysten Ritter costarred in this production below the direction of Peter DuBois. In February 2012, Bartha signed on to costar on the NBC comedy pilot The New Normal. On May 7, 2012, NBC ordered the job to show. The show was centered around a homosexual couple (played by Bartha and Andrew Rannells) and the surrogate mother (Georgia King) they chosen to produce their kid. It premiered on September 11, 2012, but was formally nullified the following year on May 10, 2013.
