He was previously married to Michelle Meldrum.

Original guitar player for the Swedish rock band Europe, which in mid 80s had great hits like "The Final Countdown", "Rock the night", "Carrie" and "Open Your Heart". He left Europe in 1987, released several solo album with a reasonable success and later joined the American group Dokken.
