Irene Yolanda Ravache Paes de Melo (born 6 August 1944 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian actress. She acts in television, theater and cinema. Ravache has also produced programs such as Intimidade Indecente. In 2008 she was nominated for an International Emmy Award for her role in Eternal Magic.
The actor and writer Fabio Porchat called her, inviting her for the movie Entre Abelhas to play his mother, but she thought it was the actor Marcelo Medici pranking a joke on the phone, because he does that a lot.

Irene has two grandchildren: Cadu Libonati (Iran's son) and Maria Luiza (Juliano's daughter).

Irene has two sons: Iran (with her first husband, an army officer) and Juliano (with Edson). She was a mother at 21 and 29.

Her husband Edison Paes de Melo is a journalist.

Irene made her theater debut in 1962 with the plays "Aconteceu em Irkutsk" (It happened in Irkutsk) and "Aonde vais Isabel?" (Where are you going Isabel?). She also worked in many other plays like: "A Ratoeira" of Agatha Christie (1971) and "Afinal uma mulher de negócios" of Fassbinder (1981).
