Tall, lanky supporting actor. Appeared in two-reel silent comedies with Educational, then had a spell in B-westerns for various independent producers, as well as acting in mainstream features with Universal. Keefe did better then many others after the arrival of sound, securing sizeable roles in second features with Poverty Row outfits Republic and Monogram through the 1930's. After a decade-long absence, he made another comeback in early 50's television under the name 'Jack Hill'.
