In 22 years Harry Handelsman has taken his property development company Manhattan Loft Corporation from niche player to nascent superbrand. Established in 1992 its success is based on challenging conventions and preconceptions and addressing the needs of individuals rather than “the market”. Most recently, Harry, co-owner with André Balazs of Chateau Marmont fame, to develop and create what has become London’s most celebrated restaurant The Chiltern Street Firehouse.
