Eve Miller was born on August 8, 1923 in Los Angeles, California, USA as Eve Turner. She was an actress, known for The Big Trees (1952), Kansas Pacific (1953) and There's No Business Like Show Business (1954). She died on August 17, 1973 in Van Nuys, California.
Brunette leading lady, on screen from 1945 to 1961. Worked as a welder in a shipyard during the war years, then as a department store clerk. In show business first with the Follies Bergere in San Francisco, subsequently at Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe. Signed by 20th Century Fox in 1945 and mentored by Ida Lupino, who helped her get a co-starring role opposite Kirk Douglas in The Big Trees (1952). Joined Warner Brothers and had second leads in The Winning Team (1952) and April in Paris (1952). Starred in the Allied Artists western Kansas Pacific (1953), which was her swansong in the movies. Thereafter only appeared as guest in episodic television, primarily in anthology drama.

Attempted suicide by stabbing herself in the abdomen on 21 July 1955 at her Hollywood apartment, after being told by her fiancé (a Universal bit player) that he will not marry her until he is financially secure.
