Duane Eugene Kuiper (born June 19, 1950) is a former Major League Baseball second baseman, and is a five-time Emmy award-winning radio and television sportscaster for the San Francisco Giants. Along with former major league pitcher Mike Krukow, he forms the broadcast duo known as "Kruk and Kuip".
Made his Major League debut with the Cleveland Indians on September 9, 1974. Played twelve seasons in the Major Leagues, eight seasons with Cleveland and four seasons with the San Francisco Giants. Is currently the play-by-play man on Giants television broadcasts along with former Giant Mike Krukow. Hit one home run in his Major League career.
