Salvatore "Toto" Cutugno (Italian pronunciation: [?t?to ku?tu??o]; born 7 July 1943) is an Italian pop singer-songwriter and musician. Cutugno may be best known for his worldwide hit song, "L'Italiano", which was on his hit CD, I Grandi Successi.
His father was an officer of Italy's navy, his mother a housewife.

His most successful songs include "Solo noi" (1980, lit. for "Only Us"), "L'Italiano" (1983, "The Italian"), "Serenata" (1984, "Serenade"), "Insieme: 1992" (1990, "Together: 1992") and "Gli amori" together with Ray Charles (1990, "Good Love Gone Bad" in the English version).
