Terrence Hugh "Terry" Hanratty (born January 19, 1948) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League during the 1960s and 1970s. He earned two Super Bowl rings as the backup quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Terry 's son Conor also plays football for Notre Dame as an offensive guard.

1Made his collegiate debut on national television against Bob Griese and Purdue on September 24, 1966. Threw three touchdown passes to Jim Seymour in a 26-14 Notre Dame victory.
2Teamed up with Jim Seymour to form a record-setting passing combination at Notre Dame. The two became known as the Baby Bombers as well as, "Mr. Fling to Mr. Cling."
3Suffered a shoulder separation against Michigan State in 1966 and missed the season finale, a 51-0 blowout win over USC. Suffered a serious knee injury during practice late in the 1968 season and missed the last three games. Joe Theismann stepped in and performed admirably.
