Tony Fox Sales (born September 26, 1951) is an American rock musician. A bass guitarist, Sales and his brother, Hunt Sales, played with Todd Rundgren, and Iggy Pop and Tin Machine with David Bowie.

Tony Sales, about the car crash: "They found me basically dead, not breathing, with the gearshift through my chest, and of all the people I'd known and played with, David [Bowie] was the only one who came to the hospital during all that time".
Brother of Hunt Sales, Former brother-in-law of Romina Power and Tyrone Power Jr.. Father with Taryn of Anthony Tyrone Sales who was born on September 4, 1982 in Los Angeles, and Valentina Fox Sales who was born on September 10, 1983 in Los Angeles.

Tony first met David Bowie during Iggy Pop's "TV Eye" tour in 1977. Bowie was playing keyboards.

While Tony was playing bass for band Tin Machine, lead guitarist Reeves Gabrels couldn't tell the difference between Hunt Sales and Tony Sales.

First band: "Tony Sales and the Tigers", with brother Hunt Sales playing drums. Carol Kaye taught him how to play the bass guitar (Carol has done session work for many artists, including The Monkees and Sonny & Cher). While a member of the Stooges, Tony was in a car crash (hit a tree while going 75 mph), which resulted in an 8-month coma.
