Kathryn Janis Grody (born November 6, 1946) is an American actress/writer. After winning two Obies for her off-Broadway work, she wrote an autobiographical play called A Mom's Life.Grody was born Los Angeles, California. She has been married to actor/singer Mandy Patinkin since 1980 and they have two children, Isaac and Gideon. Grody is actor Noah Wyle's godmother.In 2013, Kathryn appeared as Lola in the Primary Stages production of The Model Apartment.
Becoming a first time mom at age 35, Grody wrote an autobiographical one-woman show called "A Mom's Life" in which she examines the pros and cons of what happens when an award-winning actress (Grody has won two Obies for her off-Broadway work) sets her career aside and becomes a stay-home mother. The play has been running on and off with Grody since 1990.
