Paul Hoffmann was born on March 25, 1902 in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was an actor and director, known for Der Hund des Generals (1964), Oberst Wennerström (1965) and Kabale und Liebe (1959). He died on December 2, 1990 in Vienna, Austria.
After World War II he was engaged by the Staatstheater Stuttgart in 1946 where he also took over the art direction vom 1950.
