1While working on the Jerry Lewis film, The Bellboy (1960), filmed in Miami Beach, Gloria DeHaven came on the set. Corinne complained and was dropped from the film, which cut all scenes that included or referred to Corrine Calvet.
2She says in her memoirs that when she met Clark Gable, they were at a dinner during which he talked about hunting parties and animal killings. She was so disgusted that she left.
3According to her in her biography: "Has Corinne Been a Goood Girl?", she had a short relationship with Rory Calhoun, that ended when she discovered Calhoun had a boyfriend. Calhoun eventually fired at her with a gun.
4Corinne Calvet says in her biography, that when she met Orson Welles, he wanted to date her because she had a big resemblance with Rita Hayworth, who left Welles some months earlier. When she said to Welles that she was not Hayworth, he dismissed her.
