Stephen Yardley was born on March 24, 1942 in Ferrensby, North Yorkshire, England. He is an actor and producer, known for Howards' Way (1985), Family Affairs (1997) and The XYY Man (1976). He is married to Jan Harvey. He was previously married to Elizabeth.
I do prefer theatre, but I have made my money from television work because theatre isn't very well paid.

I'm six foot three and bald, so I'm a bit hard to miss, and as one in four people in Britain watch Howards' Way (1985) I do tend to attract a bit of attention when I'm out.
