Jerry Masucci was born on October 7, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York, USA as Gennaro Masucci. He was a producer and actor, known for Vigilante (1983), The Last Fight (1983) and Our Latin Thing (1972). He died on December 21, 1997 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Founder, with Johnny Pacheco, of the legendary Fania Records label (1964-2005). The label became a major force in Latin music during the 1970s and was home to many famous artists, including Celia Cruz and Hector Lavoe.
