Jason Michael Wade (created July 5, 1980 in Camarillo, California) is the lead vocalist, principal songwriter, and guitarist of the American alternative rock band Lifehouse. Wade never had any formal musical training or lessons and taught himself the best way to play guitar throughout the age of 14. He was born July 5, 1980 in Camarillo, California and his family traveled and went globally because of this of the work as Christian missionaries. He now resides in California. Wade’s parents divorced when he was 12, and he moved along with his mom and sister to Port Orchard, Washington. Around this time he started teaching himself the best way to play guitar, and started composing his own music and lyrics. Several years after, Jason and his mom relocated to La, where he co-founded his first group Lifehouse (initially called Blyss) with his next door neighbor as well as a buddy. Lifehouse has sold more than 15 million singles and albums worldwide.
