In 1999, while touring with Ozzfest, Wayne was in a car accident that landed him in the emergency room. "I was on a stretcher, my head bloody, and the doctor was asking me what I do for a living, trying to keep me from passing out. I told him I was in a band called Static-X and he said that he was on our mailing list and comes to our shows! He gets in free now", he said.
