Joe lost his debut album Joe Budden in 2003. The single “Fire” was played in the movie Mean Girls; another single in the record, “Drop Drop” made it to the soundtrack for Cradle 2 the Grave.

The film Mean left Def Jam Record after continuos push backs of his sophomore record, The Increase. The label failed to buy into the course of his music. In December 2007, Budden signed a multi-record cope with Amalgam Digital. While underAmalgam Digital himself released the record Padded Room (2009) as well as the mixture-tapesMood Muzik 3: The Record,Halfway House, andEscape Course. In 2013 Joe Budden lost his second record No Love Lost which contained the lead single “She do not Put It Down” which features vocalist Tank and Lil Wayne.
