Her career in motion pictures endured for a mere five years (1936-41), during which time she was primarily used as a specialty dancer and occasional singer. Between 1954 and 1959, she had a solo act dancing at the Friedrichstadtpalast. She eventually settled in East Berlin where she worked as a dance instructor at the Staatlichen Fachschule für Artistik from 1961.
