The group found international crossover success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with a mixture of electronic beats, sweeping synthetic strings, and Paris's soulful vocals on tracks such as "Good Life," "Big Fun," and "Ain't Nobody Better."Grey recorded three Inner City albums, a Detroit techno compilation album, and an extended remix collection of Inner City tracks.
