David Michael Bell (born September 14, 1972) is a former Major League Baseball third baseman. Bell is currently the bench coach for the St. Louis Cardinals. He formerly was the manager of the Triple-A Louisville Bats and the former Double-A Carolina Mudcats in the Cincinnati Reds organization. Bell is a member of the Bell family, which is one of the only families to have three generations play in the Major Leagues. He is the brother of Mike Bell, the son of Buddy Bell, and the grandson of Gus Bell.
