Richard Darbyshire (born 8 March 1960) is an English singer, a songwriter, a producer and a songwriting coach. Darbyshire is best known as the frontman for the 1980s Sheffield band, Living in a Box.
Vocalist/guitarist with 1980s band, Living In a Box. Their hits include "Living In a Box" (1987), "So the Story Goes" (1987) (which featured Bobby Womack), "Blow the House Down" (1989), and "Room In Your Heart" (1989). He launched a solo career with Virgin Records in the 1990s.
