Matt Johnson (1989 - ) is a published author and sports editor of the Upper Valley Standard Journal in Rexburg, Idaho. Johnson was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he studied Communication with a minor in Sports Management.After completing an internship with the Presentation College athletics department in Aberdeen, South Dakota, he returned to school for his senior year and was hired by the Standard Journal after working as a freelance sports reporter.Johnson's lone published book is entitled, The Biggest What-If's in Los Angeles Lakers History He currently resides in Rexburg, Idaho and continues to serve as sports editor.
