Manuel Carrasco Galloso (born January 15, 1981) is a Spanish pop singer from Isla Cristina, Spain. He rose to fame during his participation in the second edition of the Spanish reality TV program, "Operación Triunfo," where he finished second. He has gone on to record four studio albums, including his debut album, "Quiereme," which sold more than 200,000 records.
He is in Argentina where he is recording his fourth album (after Quiereme, Manuel Carrasco and Tercera Parada)to be released in Fall this year. [June 2008]

He is in San Juan, Puerto Rico, representing Spain in the World Festival of song, with a theme composed by himself. [March 2004]

He is recording his second album in Italy and Barcelona (Spain), to be relased in October 2004. [September 2004]

In his second (Manuel Carrasco) and third album (Tercera Parada) he wrote all the songs and he co-produced the third one.

Before he participated in "Operación Triunfo" he graduated as an Electronic Auxiliar and worked with his father and brothers painting houses in his town, Isla Cristina.

He ended up in second place in the reality show "Operación Triunfo", and recorded a CD with the same producers as Alejandro Sanz, who is one of his favorite artists, along with Ketama, The Beatles and Ricardo Arjona.
